Doris Fay Hooper
Doris Fay Hooper was born June 21, 1927 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Faye Cleveland Scott and Milo Scott. She passed from this life on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 84. She was a graduate of Waurika High School. She married Melvin Hooper on February 17, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2001. She was a homemaker and attended the Hastings Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children - Dorita Brown and husband Mike of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Terry Schrader and husband Phil of Tuttle, Oklahoma and Kim Hooper and wife Pam of Byers, Texas, siblings - John Scott of Virginia and Mary Sue Phelps of Midwest City, Oklahoma, grandchildren - Jason Schrader, Judd Schrader, Jina Cates, Phoebe Brown, Jessie Reece, Melanie McIntyre, and Aaron Hooper, great grandchildren Aiden, Ian, Emma, Kynsie, Laken, and one on the way.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11AM at Dudley Funeral Home Chapel with Phil Scott officiating. Burial will be in Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from noon-8PM, and Friday from 9AM-8PM. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Waurika Public School Foundation.
